12-week Massage Therapy Certification

Our space is considered a Dojo. A "Dojo" is a special space where students of the healing, martial, and meditative arts earnestly engage in purification training. In addition to massage instruction, Aikido (the Way of Harmony), a Japanese martial art, as well as the powerful practice of Kundalini Yoga are taught in the dojo. Traditional elders of different cultures have offered profound instruction in this same space.

Our space has hosted wisdom teachers from many auspicious lineages and cultures such as Marvin Clifford, great grandson of the great Lakota chief Red Cloud; Dr. Fukiao Bunseki, Lemba priest of the Congolese peoples; Irma Bearstops, grand daughter of Crazy Horse's medicine man, Chips; Lopan Rimpoche, retreat master of the Ganteng Rimpoche, the high lama of Bhutan; Kusum Lingpa Rimpoche, wisdom treasure keeper of the Ningma Tibetan Buddhist lineage; Dr. Zhen Gao Yao, master of Chi Kung Massage and Chi Kung, head of the Chi Kung Rehabilitation Center of the Hunan Province in China; Mrs. Yao, Chi Kung and Tai Chi master; Mabiba Baegne, Congolese Dance Master; and Lorraine Fox and David Davis, ceremonial leaders of the Lakota lineage. The teachings of these elders and the dedicated practice of former students who have attended CHAC are felt very strongly within the dojo. We ask that the space be treated with a respect worthy of the honorable purpose which it serves.
